Overview

Subworkit Contracting connects customers with qualified professionals and independent contractors for construction and trade services. Some services are performed directly by Subworkit, while others are fulfilled by independent contractors hired through our platform.

Due to this dual-service model, refunds and disputes are handled according to the service provider involved.


Services Provided by Subworkit Contracting

If the work was performed directly by Subworkit, our refund policy applies as follows:

  • Refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
  • We may offer a partial refund, corrective service, or future credit depending on the situation.
  • No refunds will be issued for completed and approved work.

Services Provided by Independent Contractors

If you hired a contractor through Subworkit, the service agreement is established between you and the contractor. While Subworkit facilitates the connection and monitors project activity:

  • Disputes must be submitted to Subworkit for mediation within 7 days of project completion.
  • Contractors are responsible for delivering services as agreed and are liable for the quality and completion of work.
  • Refunds are not guaranteed, but Subworkit may hold contractor payouts during investigation.
  • Subworkit may assist in mediation and resolution, but is not the legal party to the agreement.

Materials and Product Returns

  • Unused, unopened materials may qualify for return within 7 days.
  • Custom or special-order items are non-refundable once ordered.
  • Restocking fees may apply based on supplier policies.

Cancellations

  • Service requests can be canceled before work begins.
  • If materials are ordered or labor has started, partial refunds may be reduced based on incurred costs.
  • Non-refundable deposits outlined in the contract will not be returned.

How to File a Refund or Dispute Request

To file a request, please email info@subworkit.com with:

  1. Your full name and project details
  2. Contractor name (if applicable)
  3. Detailed description of the issue
  4. Supporting documents or photos

We will respond within 2–3 business days.


Liability Disclaimer

Subworkit Contracting does not guarantee outcomes of services rendered by third-party contractors. Although contractors are vetted and reviewed, the agreement remains between the client and the contractor. Subworkit acts solely as a platform, not the employer of contractors.
